The CEF eDelivery building block supports public administrations and private entities to exchange electronic data and documents with other public administrations, businesses and citizens, in an interoperable, secure, reliable and trusted way.

The Action has deployed and operated a national eDelivery Access Point with AS4 profile in line with eDelivery specifications. It has also complemented action 2015-CY-IA-0052, ‘e-Invoicing Cyprus’ by upgrading Access Point with AS2 profile to AS4 profile. In addition, this Action deployed and operated a Service Metadata Publisher (SMP) in Cyprus.

This Action allows registered users to exchange securely documents and data in Cyprus and with other European organizations, moving towards an effective European Digital Single Market. It also identified future activities for further increasing the use of e-Delivery services in business processes.

As established by this Action, a National eDelivery Access Point serves regional entities at government level and local private sector companies. This Action has increased the uptake of the e-Delivery DSI amongst public and private entities as well as it enabled the future exchange of documents/data between administrations and citizens.
